Stricter regulation on Fine Article draws attention to Kelas

    Multiple cities in China have been busy preparing for the release of fine article (PM 2.5) monitoring information. Pundits of environmental protection have reached the general agreement that long-term inspection and management of fine article pollution will be at the center of future planning once the monitoring scheme is set up. With the ownership of motors and automobiles increasing steadily over the last few years, tougher regulations, other than the oversight system we have established, are required to fulfill the promise of less emission and better living conditions.

    Despite all the obstacles lying ahead, several forerunners have devoted significant amount of capital and intelligence into the development of products that provide solution to current problems. Among them, KLS, a company praised for its superior performance in the  recent12thChina(Nanjing)International Bus&Parts Exhibition, spearheads in the research of air purification while presenting the public a feasible approach to mitigate the damage inflicted by emission.

    Our reporter noticed that hundreds of visitors crowded at the showcase of KLS in Nanjing International Expo held on March 23rd while KLS was explaining how its products works and their comparative advantage over competing brands. As another testimony to its success, “The Seventh China Coach Competition”was named after KLS as well.  

    To understand its popularity, we interviewed the chief manager Qin Jian for the characteristics of KLS’s product in the “2012 China Green Technology Innovation and Application Forum”. Qin quoted some scientific researches, which conclude the usage of diesel as the major source of fine article pollution in urban areas and told us that the most effective way of alleviating this problem is the imposition of stricter regulation over the emission of bus and coach which consume mostly diesel. This regulatory pratice, formally named as “China IV Emission Standard”, was constructed by the Bureau of Environmental Protection and will be in effect soon . In order for their emission to satisfy the “China IV Emission Standard”, buses and coaches have to install on their exhaust system an electronically controlled device that sprays urea solutions. Urea solution will then neutralize the poisonous oxynitride in emission and give rise to pure Nitrogen plus water, thus subduing the harm of emission. Designated as “AdBlue”in Europe, the urea solution is invented and now produced by KLS in China.

    Currently the largest manufacturer of “AdBlue”and the associated Filling/Dispensing Equipments, KLS provides a systematic solution for all Chinese coach and bus operators. It includes direct usage of AdBlue, AdBlue refill system and subsidiary products such as biologically degradable antifreeze Antifreeze Coolant. Businesses running a large number of vehicles now have a whole set of solution to meet the coming “China IV Emission Standard”.

     Until now, KLS has established cooperation with a wealth of prominent coach manufacturers, including but not limited to YuTong, BeiQi, HaiGe, AnKai, HuangHai, Chang’an. At the same time, the public bus systems at cities like Shanghai, Shenzhen, Suzhou and Hangzhou have all embarked on the transformation under the assistance of “AdBlue”and its ancillary Filling/Dispensing Equipment. Moreover, KLS even manages to export its products to Hongkong, Australia, Japan, Turkey, Chile etc. On the Research and Development side, KLS’s exclusive invention of AdBlue characterized by -25 freezing point and hyper-pressed solid state further strengthen its competitiveness. AdBlue with -25 degree freezing point makes its functional even under the harshest test of temperature while a hyper-pressed solid state greatly improves AdBlue’s portability, thus maximizing the expansion of transportation network once the “China IV Emission Standard” is officially implemented.
